She has extensive experience as advisor for start ups of convention bureaus, convention centres and venues specialising in meeting industry. In September 2015 she has found her company “ELISABETH HANSA; Support & Strategy On Demand”, a full service consulting agency dealing with venue development, staff training and feasibility studies for venues. Until August 2015 she worked as Head of Event management and Sales at the Austria Center Vienna, one of the biggest conference centres in central Europe. Before that she worked as managing director of MARIAZELLER EUROPEUM GMBH, Mariazell/Styria, Austria, a multipurpose convention centre for various events of up to 600 people. Before that we was director of marketing and sales for conventions and business events for MESSE CONGRESS GRAZ, a group of 7 companies providing various sporting and international events and convention centres, with 175 employees. She worked at the ORF, the Austrian broadcasting corporation and volunteered in the board of various professional associations like MPI, AIPC and ECM.
